Funeral Program Tips

Utilizing beautiful funeral programs via a template is an sure easy way to create professional looking funeral programs. Here are some important tips on what to do if you happen to purchase one:

1. Download the template to a place on your computer that is easily accessible and you can find it quickly.

2. Do not work from the original template, always make a copy of it.

3. Saving your template after each significant change you do is recommended.

4. Try to gather all your information that you want to include inside the program such as funeral poems and funeral songs and other pertinent data. That includes scanning your photos before placing them into a template.

5. Crop the photos you've scanned to the appropriate sizing you like ahead of time.

6. Always proof your finished work and have a second pair of eyes do so as well.

7. If you plan on printing them from your own home printer, ensure you have all the supplies on stock.

8. If you plan on taking the finished program to an outside source, make sure you communicate with them the file type they need and if they will accept an email copy.

9. Give yourself enough time to spend on folding and assembly. Gather help from family and friends if needed.

If you follow these nine simple steps, you will be successful when you put together your program design for a service. If your not comfortable using the computer software, see if you can find some help from someone who can assist you in doing so. Often the online source that you download the template from will offer customization services and do it all for you, quickly and hassle free. Use their services which are provided for a nominal fee and it will save you alot of work and headache!

  2. I found a beautiful saying .... I haven’t really left you even though it may seem ... the font is beautiful and I want to make one large sheet that is like a legal size piece of paper with it on it to put on back of picture that I want to give my mom as she is moving into the house my dad and she built but he suddenly passed away a few months ago. The only copy of it I can find has copyrighted background ... can I buy a copy of this saying with the beautiful print so I can put on a piece of paper to attach to the framed photo I am giving her? My email is sandi5085@hotmail.com. Please let me know. Thank you!
